A cool start to the day thank god for our 4 kilowatt diesel heater as Moho was cosy warm 5min later. Jude gets the lamb shanks prepared for the slow cooker so I’m already salivating about tonight’s dinner.

As you can see by the feature image it is such a lovely morning. I decided to have a Quick Look at the waters edge and I was surprised to see fish jumping out of the water in the harbour. Not sure what species of fish it was but it kept me entertained for a while.

Went into Tākaka so I could get a shape and thin done on my goat beard, unfortunately there was a line up so couldn’t be bothered waiting. Arriving back at the NZMCA Park at Tarakohe was just perfect for our chill out day, out come the chairs and a sit in the warmth of the sun, gave me a bit of time to practice the ukulele as I have not had it out for quite sometime.

As evening sets in the forever changing light gives opportunities to capture some amazing photos from this beautiful location. Jude and I agree it pictorially is one of the best places in the country.

Time now to watch the Warriors play Panthers before hitting those slow cooked lamb shanks and a cold beer.

“Up Dah Wahs” … oops!😬
