(Picture of the afternoon beers location) – Reasonable day weather wise and one Jude and I had chosen to have off from working on jobs around the farm. Time for a trip for our favourite coffee beans from The Roar Cafe in Lumsden in Western Southland. While there decided to have lunch and I must say how much I enjoyed their “Pork ‘n’ Clucked” toasted sandwich. After a lovely lunch return to the farm to re-splice the boat anchor rope to the anchor chain. This job was bloody hard work in the heat of the day but managed to get it done. The best thing was the nice cold beer on the veranda in the warmth of the afternoon with Jude and Michael… knocked a few Bottles and cans back. As I had promise to cook dinner it was fish’n’chips Friday… which I sincerely thank Jude for helping me cook by ordering and going into the village to pick it up… thanks love👍🏼♥️
