Fine days down south are a rarity at the moment but I guess it’s that time of the year. With a break in the wet weather that has been hitting the country over the past 2 weeks… maybe more it was time to grab the first lot of grand children (William and Tessa) and head away for the day. Ok it wasn’t the warmest (for us more seasoned aged ones) but it was ok for the young high metabolise ice types. A good 4km walk along the beach in a cool breeze wasn’t too bad and the grandies seemed to enjoy the beach. Returning to Aotearoamer for fried sausages with tomato sauce and a game of Skip Do filled the day good. Now 3 more families of grandies to do the same with… hope the weather gods make it possible.
