Its been a lovely stay in Gisborne with Ian and Tui after my Parliament Grounds Freedom Village experience, both of us catching “Alphadeltacrom”, recovering and exploring the lower east side of the Wellington coastline such as Cape Palliser, Lake Wairarapa and Masterton. Jude and I have had a lovely time staying with these great mates. Of course because we are jab-free they do tend to call us their leper friends… but amongst friends who cares. These guys are amazing and we really enjoy the banter, beers and the friendship. Now the weather is another story and boy when it rains up here it rains. Jude and I decided it was time to move on this week… however after looking at the weather forecast it was decided that it would be safer to ride this one out at their place and it turned out to be a good choice. Today poor Tui had to say goodbye to her beautiful little Kitten Harmoni whom passed away after a “simple” medical procedure to have her spaded went horribly wrong and now she takes her place with the other beloved pets around the tree that Jude and I call the “Pet Compass” because theres pets around it at all pints of the compass. We feel for Tui as she loves her pets and each of them are special. Well now its just keep an eye on the weather and choose the best time to move on.
