Well its been a while since we have posted… sooo much has happened… my mum passed away one year after my dad passed away so some upsetting hard times. With mum and dad passing away and being unable to attend my dads funeral because of government overeach it was good to be with ALL my brothers and sisters after so many years.. its the sad thing about the loss of loved ones, I wish we could have reunions without it taking a death of one of us for family to be all together. After getting back from Canberra, Jude and I did spend a bit of time making our way down the country and back into the South Island. The North Had been pretty bloody wet for us and it was nice to find some sunny weather. Sheldon was playing in the world Bowls Championship and the World Champion Of Champions competition on the Gold Coast so what better reason than to spend time in some beautiful warm weather so 30 days in Aussie’s Gold Coast it was to be from mid August to mid September. After coming backf rom Aussie it was awesome to follow my granddaughter Aijah playing her first season of Rugby League. Was very impressed with her enthusiasm.. a few hard knocks were taken but she never backed off. Look forward to following her new found sport. We have made the most of getting out on Foveaux Strait fishing for cod and snorkelling for paua… so great to be back in the water. It goes with saying that we will be spending the summer down in the lower south enjoying hopefully a lot more fantastic days.
