Today Judes granddaughter Tessa Edge competed in the Under 10 years X-Country event being raced at Waimumu near Gore today. The race had to be re-run because in the first attempt some competitors took the wrong route due to it being poorly marked. This second attempt made it a harder task and really tested the endurance of the young girls. Well it is now the weekend and what was days to go only seems like hours now. It’s Friday night and it’s over to Lyttelton for dinner and the Lyttelton Festival Of Lights.
